Who’s it for?

Motion software helps designers and engineers predict and understand the functional behaviour of parts and assemblies. It delivers a complete and very robust set of capabilities to support all aspects of advanced dynamic, static and kinematics motion simulation.

Course Agenda

Upon successful completion of course, students will understand the following topics, however, Simcenter 3D Motion topics can be covered based on your company requirements:

• Creating motion bodies, joints, constraints and motion drivers.
• Defining a mechanism with springs, dampers and bushings.
• Adding loads to a motion assembly.
• Defining analytical contact or 3D contact for motion assembly.
• How to define Motion solution options.
• How to apply and edit motion simulations.
• How to perform Kinematic and dynamic analysis of Motion assemblies.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize a mechanism design.
• How to display motion results such as forces, velocities and accelerations.
• Use of sub mechanisms to define a large mechanism for motion simulations.

Pre-requisites

6 to 12 months NX CAD experience.
