This course gives engineers all the tools they need to create electrical harnesses within NX. The course explores the entire design process and focuses on designing electrical harnesses around existing components. So, engineers can return to work following this course and immediately start designing electrical harnesses for their specific products and projects. 

Course Agenda

Emixa’s NX Electrical Routing and Harness Design course teaches engineers the full process for creating electrical harnesses: 

• Qualifying parts for use in a harness assembly 

• Placing parts in a harness assembly 

• Creating routing splines to guide the harness through and around other components 

• Creating and importing electrical connection data 

• Adding overstock and managing space requirements 

• Creating a formboard drawing 

• Creating deformable routing parts 

Pre-requisites

4 to 6 months NX CAD experience.  

User level: Intermediate to advanced.
