BAM Infra Equipment is launching a new digital rental process to provide their internal business units with construction necessities. Previously, they used a time-consuming and error-prone analogue process, but the new system, developed in collaboration with Emixa, includes a web shop where employees can easily order equipment and materials. This has resulted in improved inventory control, fewer ordering errors, increased efficiency, and enhanced project management. The positive reception from employees and the interest from other BAM Infra Netherlands divisions attest to the success of the initiative.
BAM Infra Equipment uses SAP Equipment & Tools Management (ETM) in combination with Prefab SAP add-ons from Emixa, a solution that supports end-to-end processes for material and equipment rental, including a web shop, a planboard and a mobile app for order picking.
