Weener Plastics Transitions to Innovation Factory

Recently, the Transport Management System (TMS) application for Weener Plastics has gone live and is now in operation. The Mendix app automates the logistics processes related to transport, including planning, administration, and financial processing. We congratulate Weener Plastics on the successful launch of the first application in a series of innovative Mendix apps focusing on production, HR, and process optimization.

Process Optimization

 Weener Plastics aimed to organize and manage its logistical processes as efficiently as possible. The application streamlines tasks that used to require a significant amount of time and manpower, enabling faster and more efficient operations. Additionally, during the application development, a significant step was taken in terms of process optimization. The two locations of Weener Plastics Netherlands (Ede and Tilburg) had different working methods. Through a critical examination of both the software and the implemented processes, they are now streamlined, providing a double win for the organization.
